Nursery Care is offered each Sunday for ages 3 and under.
Sunday School, September through July
- Grades Pre-K through 6
- Grades 7-12 meet for Sunday School on the 2nd and 4th Sundays
- Communion Sunday, 1st Sunday of the Month – Families are encouraged to worship together. A Sermon Time Craft is offered for Grades Pre-K through 6
- In August there is multi-age Sunday School for Pre-K through completed grade 6
Special Classes offered Each Year:
Bible Explorers is an “Introduction to the Bible Class” for third Graders. Students learn a history of the Bible and how to read, explore, and search references such as an index and concordance. At the end of this 4 week class, each student is presented with their own bible by a member of our congregation, aka a “Bible Buddy.”
First Communion Class is a 4-week class for fourth grade and up that introduces and explains Communion. They learn the history of Communion and other traditions of our church and Christianity. Upon completion students receive communion for the first time and are celebrated
Acolytes Class, offered twice a year in September and January. Children learn how to help in the Worship Service.
Discipleship Journey Class is for grades 10 and above. Teens explore our Christian faith and the history and organization of our church. They then have the option of becoming a member of MCC and presenting their statement of faith in front of our congregation.
Special Events
- Youth & Children’s Sunday in June. Celebrates the Sunday School year–children and teens are the presenters during the Worship Service.
- Vacation Bible School ~ July 9-13, 2018!
- Christmas Pageant in December

An offering is taken each week in the Sunday School classes to support Sara Anna Awuor, a young girl from Kenya, through the Compassion International Program.
