WORSHIP SERVICE INTERPRETATION

Interpretation of our Sunday morning worship services is provided for the Deaf community on most Sundays. We are thankful to Mike Viggiano who is heading up this ministry and providing interpretive services.

The Deaf Ministry would like to let people know when they’re talking about the Deaf community it is about the Deaf culture, and it’s Deaf culture that we’re talking about when people become involved. It is appropriate to ask if they are able to understand ASL (American Sign Language) also to communicate either in notes or reading lips (usually lip reading is only 30% effective). The Deaf Ministry also has a meeting group called The A Team. We meet regularly every Monday night for a meal together, we pray for each other, discuss issues of our lives applying Biblical principles and doing Bible study. The A Team is an extension of our church ministry. For more info, email Mike at mvsign11@msn.com.

HEARING ASSISTANCE

We also have hearing assistance units available for those in need. Please see a deacon before the start of the service and we can provide a remote receiver for you to plug in headphones. It is suggested you bring your own for the most comfort, but we can also provide headphones

Check our Facebook page for updates and reminders, or send an email request to church@middleton.org and we’ll add you to our email list.
