Prayer is vital to our church. It’s like breathing. Along with pastoral prayers, corporate prayer and prayers for healing during our worship services, we engage in prayer together in our small groups, our board and committee meetings, and our times of fellowship. Every second Wednesday of the month is a Day of Prayer & Fasting where everyone is encouraged to spend extra time seeking the Lord. This culminates with an an Evening of Prayer & Worship from 7:00-8:00 pm in the main Sanctuary. This is an informal and intimate time of worship in song and prayer when we lift up members and friends of our church family, the community and the world. All are welcome to attend and join us.
We also have a dedicated group of “prayer warriors” on our MCC Prayer Team, who receive prayer requests via email from the church and community at least once a week. Prayer requests are kept confidential within the group (unless otherwise requested). If you would like the prayer team to pray for you or someone you know, you may send a prayer request to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be sure to include your name, so that we can pray for you by name. And if you would like to hear back from someone directly through email, please mention that with your prayer request. Your email address will also be kept confidential and only used to respond to your request.
