Rt. Rev. Brian Bethke, Senior Pastor

Contact: brian@middleton.org

As a California native, Brian moved to New England in 2017 after retiring from twenty-one years of active duty military service in The United States Marine Corps, in which he concluded his career as an officer. Stateside, Brian has planted and pastored churches in California and Massachusetts with his experiences encompassing a variety of pastoral responsibilities. He has also held leadership roles in several parachurch ministries. Brian is a graduate of Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently working on his Doctor of Ministry degree at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary with an emphasis on ministry in New England. He is a Harold J. Ockenga Fellow, a group which focuses on the intersection of faith and culture. He also serves as a missionary bishop of REACH-North America. Brian’s passion is to develop, equip, empower, and release Christ-centered missional disciples to have Kingdom impact in all of life.

Brian has three adult children and one granddaughter. He enjoys Brazilian jiu-jitsu, playing bass guitar, riding his Harley Road King and “adventuring” around with his wife, Erica.

Tammilynn Elerath, Next Generation Pastor

Contact: youth@middleton.org

Tammilynn has been joyfully married to Justin for over 20 years. She became a Christian at the age of six and loves the Lord with all her heart. Tammilynn is devoted to working with teens and seeing them grow in their faith. She attributes her passion for youth to having been a foster child who was adopted into an amazing family; this gives her a unique perspective on youth and the issues and challenges they face daily.  Early in their marriage, Tammilynn and Justin became foster parents, and God built their family through the gift of adoption and fostering. They have three adult daughters, a son-in-law, and four wonderful grandchildren.

In contrast to her Sunday School teacher persona, Tammilynn also works with bikers throughout New England in a ministry called “Black Sheep Harley Davidsons For Christ." She loves serving as youth director at MCC alongside her family.
